Looking for inspiration. What do you do?

Updated my blog and created a new theme, time (ok, ok, long overdue) for a new post!

I'm at a bit of a scrapper's block, have been for a while now. I don't like it! I really want to produce layouts and mini albums and all kinds of other things but I seem to hit a wall of uninspired-ness and insecurity whenever I try to start at something. So let me ask, what do you do to get the creative juices flowing?

Here's some recent work I did manage to create...

Love this October Afternoon paper. Not your typical snow layout, I love how it turned out. Used Heidi Swapp ghost snowflakes covered in paint on the back and stickles on the front, and also used stickles on the QuicKutz Diesel letters. The word "play" is QuicKutz Biography.

Scrapware Quickutz Design Team LO, I used the QuicKutz label, branch border and birds dies, and Banasplit and Diesel classic alphas. The stamp is from October Afternoon and the paper is Fancy Pants' Arctic Chill line.

Another QK DT LO, I turned grass into Fire! :) The photo is from the Winter Efteling where they had several campfires throughout the park. Used Quickutz Grass dies and Magnolia, Moonlight and Diesel Grand alphabets. Paper is 7Gypsies Gypsy Market. The border was made using the Fiskars Effervescence border punch.

Inspirations

I go to bulletin boards, look at LO's, scraplift a couple of ideas and then the juices start flowing as I work. Hope that helps.

Inspiration

I when I am stuck I usually clean my scrap area. I go through all my stuff (well not all) and somewhere along the way I find something to inspire me. If that does not work I usually pick up a copy of SBE, and if I am still uninspired, I cruise the net, there are some great challenge sites, and nothing really gets me motivated like a contest. Try Scenic route, or Sassafrass Lass, or a really neat site that posts ideas every single day, usually with examples called Inspiration Daily http://dailyinspirationsblog.blogspot.com/ Good luck

your layouts look great. I

your layouts look great.
I agree with the other poster. I go blog hopping or look through online gallerys for inspiration. sometimes it will spark my creativity and make me want to scrap. I will look at photos and product and see if it get me itchin to scrap.

Inspiration

Love your layouts (especially yellow birds!). I look through my books and magazines in different topics from scrapbooking, home decor, gardening, women's mags, different art/craft books. I also go online and look at others work's for inspiration. Sometimes it's just one little aspect that creates a thought, sometimes it's an ad in a magazine, it can be almost anything. Eventually something will get me excited enough to generate my own ideas.

I know what you mean, but

I know what you mean, but trust me you'll get it back. Keep on looking around and it will be back before you know it. I have been there, not out of the woods yet, but I am getting on top of it.
