A strange week.....

Back from Texel for a week and it has been a strange one. I've finished my Texel book as well as two layouts, a lot for me in 1 week, but I've also had to deal with some very terrible news. Someone who's life was ripped away from him far too soon leaving a wife and two young children behind. Torn between grief and shock, and the realization that you should live your life as best you can. Enjoy it before it's all gone. A very weird mix of emotions.

Coming Sunday is the Royal Fiesta at the Royal Lemon forum, which I'll be participating in, together with Angelique and Nathalie at my house. Looking forward to it! I'll show you the results next week. For now this is what I've done this week.

Here's the front and a few pages of the Texel book I've made. It's a Maya Road Sheer album with Collage Press papers.

This layout I made using a set of My Minds Eye Penny Lane papers and accessories. This Hyacinth photo from last year fit perfectly with the papers.

And the third project for this week, a layout using Graphic 45 papers, which I didn't think I would use, I have difficulty with vintage papers but I love how this turned out. I also used the new Quickutz Labels and Bracket dies.
